Where to find Syntax Styler: Look at the Right-Hand Side Panel

Syntax Styler does NOT appear in the top “Extensions” menu bar. Instead, it lives in Google Workspace™'s Right-Hand Side Panel (Companion Bar) alongside Google Calendar™, Keep™, and Tasks™.

👉 Don't see the side panel? In the very bottom-right corner of your document (Google Docs™, Google Slides™, or Google Sheets™), look for the small arrow button ‹ (“Show side panel”). Click it to expand the panel and reveal the emerald Syntax Styler icon!

Works Across Your Entire Google Workspace™

You only need to install Syntax Styler once — it automatically works across all three applications:

📄 Google Docs™

Highlight any code lines, blocks, or code inside table cells. Supports auto-boxing with background colors.

📊 Google Slides™

Highlight text inside any slide text box or shape. Perfect for technical presentations and lecture slides.

📈 Google Sheets™

Select any cell or range containing code, SQL queries, or formulas, and apply rich syntax coloring.

How to Use Syntax Styler in 4 Easy Steps

Click the Emerald Syntax Styler Icon in the Side Panel
